Rolling Stone has an article written by Jay-Z on the nature of a classic track and how they come about. What's interesting is that Jay says if it takes too long to make a song, he scraps it. Kanye, on the other hand, could spend months on a track until it's become perfect. Two different approaches to making some dope ass music.
